PPG Aerospace PR-1428 A-2 Red PRC Standard Spec Access Door Aircraft Sealant – Pint Kit is a one-component, polysulfide sealant that cures at room temperature to form a tough, flexible elastomer. It is used for sealing access doors on aircraft.

The sealant is resistant to fuels, oils, and hydraulic fluids. It is also resistant to weathering and ozone. The sealant has a long service life and is easy to apply.

Applications

Instructions for Use

1. Clean the surface to be sealed with a solvent.
2. Apply the sealant to the surface using a caulking gun.
3. Smooth the sealant with a putty knife or finger.
4. Allow the sealant to cure for 24 hours.

Storage

Store the sealant in a cool, dry place. The sealant has a shelf life of 12 months.
