Purpose
This Military Specification covers the performance and qualification requirements for corrosion preventive compound, amber color, Type I, Class I, amber, 12|34, Miracle Formula, for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Requirements
The corrosion preventive compound shall conform to the following requirements:
- Color: Amber
- Type: I
- Class: I
- Viscosity: 12|34
- Performance: Miracle Formula
- Packaging: 5 Gallon Pail
Qualification
The corrosion preventive compound shall be qualified in accordance with the requirements of MIL-STD-171.
Inspection
The corrosion preventive compound shall be inspected in accordance with the requirements of MIL-STD-129.
Acceptance
The corrosion preventive compound shall be accepted in accordance with the requirements of MIL-STD-171.
Notes
- This specification does not cover the requirements for corrosion preventive compound that is intended for use on aircraft.
- The use of this corrosion preventive compound on aircraft may require additional qualification testing.
